Sneak a peek at our Process
Matchmaking
The onboarding process
You did it! You’ve booked your consultation and soon we’ll get on a call to see if we’re a match made in heaven. Once we’ve determined you’re a good fit, we’ll get your project on our calendar and start the onboarding process.
Your to-do list:

Strategy
The planning stage
All of our projects begin with a strategy component. During this time, we do a deep dive into your specific needs, gather data about your industry, and make a game plan to accomplish all your biz goals.
This starts with our brand questionnaire, where we collect information about your brand. After you’ve filled it out, we’ll schedule a strategy call with you to clarify any details and make sure we have everything we need to develop a winning brand or website strategy.
Your to-do list:

Execution
The nitty-gritty work
We’ve understood the assignment and have got our work cut out for us. But now it’s our time to shine, so feel free to sit back, relax, and leave the heavy lifting to us.
Your to-do list:

Revisions
Last-minute touchups
You’ve seen the mockups and demos, and now we’re just wrapping up loose ends. This is your opportunity to share feedback and request last-minute changes before we take things live.
Your to-do list:

Launch
Final reveal & offboarding
Everything’s packaged up and ready to go! (Psst…. you can celebrate now.)
After our final offboarding call, you’ll get access to all your files, along with useful guides and reference materials showing you exactly how to use them. Plus we’ll give you our direct line in case you need us for support in the future. So you can walk away feeling confident about your new “lit” brand.
Your to-do list:

Meet Your New Brand-Building Bestie
I’m Lita, a Barbie-obsessed brand designer with a penchant for the eclectic.
Like many millenials who grew up when the internet was still brand new, I spent an embarrassing number of hours on sites like Neopets and Myspace (yes, I fully realize how ancient that makes me sound). That’s where I first learned how to design and code. And even back then, I understood the importance of curating an on-brand online persona.
Now two decades later, the skills I (unironically) picked up then have led me to create this lit design studio.
As a business owner myself, I fully understand the need to meet targets and KPIs. But I also know that business can be fun, life-changing, and a vehicle for community and connection.
I aim to find the delicate balance between the results you desire and that “fun factor” that got you started in the first place.
So whether you’re looking to find your voice, leave your mark on the world, or touch lives through your product or service, I’m here to help make your brand LIT and bring the spark
back to your business.

Wait! I have more questions!
How long does a branding or website project take?
Both branding and website projects take about 4-6 weeks to complete. This allows us to take our time creating comprehensive solutions for your biz that will actually move the needle.
Projects are typically scheduled 1-2 months in advance, so reach out to us for a consultation if you’re considering a rebrand or new website.
*Note: If you need both branding and website services, expect an 8-12 week turnaround time.
Do I need branding before creating my website?
The short answer is yes. Before we can create a website that’s consistent with the rest of your brand, you’ll need to have established branding with the following assets:
- Logo Suite (primary logo + variations)
- Color Palette
- Typography
- Style Guidelines
If you need a website but don’t already have branding, we can help. You can hire us to do your branding first with our custom branding package.
If you already have all the above assets from another designer, we can use them to build your custom website with our signature website package.
Do I need to hire my own copywriter?
Copywriting is included in our Lit Launch Pad and Lit Selling Machine packages. However, if you would like to use your own copywriter, we can collaborate with them during the design process instead.
We do offer additional copywriting services, which you can inquire about on a per-project basis.
What platform do you use for website builds?
We specialize in WordPress sites for the freedom and flexibility it gives us to create custom solutions for our clients.
WordPress is a suitable platform for service providers, small to medium-sized online shops, and content-heavy websites (i.e. blogs, courses, webinars, etc.).
How does payment work?
We collect a 50% deposit before the project begins and charge the remaining 50% once the project is complete. Alternate payment plans are also available upon request.
We accept all major credit cards and ACH bank transfers.
How will we communicate during our project?
Our initial meeting will take place via Google Meet. After this, meetings will only be necessary to clarify project details (i.e. revision requests, project approval, etc.).
Generally, all other communications will be sent via email.
Once your project is booked, you will also gain access to our Client Portal. This is where you can see all relevant information related to your project, including shared documents, invoices, contracts, and more.
What file types do you deliver?
You will receive files in the following file formats as needed:
- Logos: SVG, PNG, JPG, EPS, Ai
- Packaging & Print: EPS, Ai, PDF
- Presentations: PDF
- Website Mockups: Figma file, PDF
- Copy assets: Google Doc file, PDF
